This session will provide you with an opportunity to discuss stereotypes and define what it means to be YOU.  You will gain the tools necessary to learn how to be confident in the skin you are in, and embrace the identities that you closely align with (e.g.,  race, gender, sexuality, ethnicity, family, and community). ​

Beauty Plus Brains

It is time to take ownership over your future!  Learn all about how to prepare for college including applying for scholarships, deciding which school is right for you, college applications, social responsibility, and distractions during your freshman year and beyond. You will be inspired to be fierce and confident as you develop your path to college.  After all, heavy is the head that wears the crown! ​ ​

Me, Myself and My Crown

Join this session and begin to think more critically about who you are and who you wish to become.  We will give you a road map to becoming more confident in the identity that you are developing, and encourage you to further explore your passions.  This session will focus on your feelings of confidence, independence, sense of purpose, and self love.

Stay Woke

Attend this session and learn how to develop your own voice in your community in an effort to take action against social and civil injustices! You will learn how to become an advocate for the oppressed, gain communication skills that will help you to navigate injustice, and learn about the various ways that you can become more involved in your community!  Make a difference and be the change you wish to see!
